Comments:

Lenakel is spoken in the west-central part of
the island of Tanna in Vanuatu (formerly New Hebrides).
Schwa is higher after an alveolar consonant; other nonlow
vowels are lower in closed than in open syllables.
Sequences of nasal or liquid + h become voiceless nasal or
liquid.
