Tigak is spoken in New Ireland province,
northen, also Western Djaul Island in Papua New Guinea.
Vowel sequences are interpreted as such and not
as diphthongs or as vowel + glide combinations. /k/ and
/g/ are described as "backed"; it is not clear if these
should be considered uvular.
