Comments: | Mba-ne is spoken in an area north of Kisangani, Haut Zaire province, in northern Zaire. Pasch (1986) says the lower mid vowels may be optional variants though some words always seem to have higher mid and others lower mid vowels. Prenasalized stops are interpreted as single consonants because of lack of other clusters. |
